Happy Fall Y'all

Isn't she the CUTEST scarecrow you ever did see??? And really very simple!
Her hat top, brim & face are all the Top Note die. We sure had fun making her in class!

Tuxedo Birthday

I told you there would be more on the pennants later.... Here it is!
When I saw this card online I KNEW we had to do it in class!!! So simple but oh so elegant!!!

Fall-ish Happy Birthday

Coupled with the wood grain embossing folder the Wonderfall stamp set is so cool! Then add the Autumn Accents die, it's really fun!!! I love fall anyway so I'm a sucker for any new stamp sets or accessories that have to do with fall!! Enjoy! And have a great time in these last beautiful days of Fall before the earth is robed in a cloak of white!!!

Warm Winter Wishes

Here's another snowy card. You'd think I was praying for snow!!! NOT!!!
Switch up the greetings & you could have a beautiful simple Christmas card. This way it's not decidedly Christmas...just wintery.

Happy Birthday Horse

I really have enjoyed the Pennant die & punch. You can use them for SO many things! And you know that's what I love to do......take an ordinary punch & use it in a different way. ( more on that later) Plus this DSP(Howlstooth & Scaringbone) is so fun to use. I would have never put Calypso Coral & Going Grey together. I guess that's why I love getting DSP because it forces me to use color combinations that I ordinarily wouldn't have. (My friend Jenny also helps me do that) :) I hope you enjoy this card!

Mitten Thank You

We always need "wintery" thank you cards. Here's one that could be Christmas-y or not! The mitten punch is one of the CUTEST punches Stampin Up! has ever had!!

Gingerbread Man Christmas

A smiley little gingerbread man to cheer you today! Isn't he adorable???
One thing I LOVE about the Framelits is that they are always perfect!!! Not to mention so easy! So here's my cute little post for today. Have fun with it! If you need to order Stampin Up ! products or you NEED to cone to class, please call or text me at 541-410-1855

Lets Party Plaid

What a fun way to give a gift card or candy!!! I showed the inside of this card so you could see the pocket. Little packets of flavored lemonade, gum, Laffy Taffy could also be put in the pocket.... The sky's the limit!!! Cut your CS at 11" x 4 1/4". Score at 2" then again at 4 1/2". Fold the 2" up for the pocket.

To You From Me

A cozy warm card for a chilly winter day! This uses the Snow Festival DSP. I love snowflakes so this paper really did something for me! Pairing it up with Early Espresso made a beautiful combo!

You're So Sweet

These colors looked so awesome together!! Don't you think? I was very excited when I put this card together!!!
And couldn't wait to share it with you all! I am really having fun with the Framelits!

Christ is Born

Hope your having an awesome, stress free day!!! I have a bit more canning to do then I'm DONE for the year!!
In the meantime I had a little time between canning projects to play a little. Here's what I did! Can you tell I love the Core'dinations CS? I hope you have tried it! Even tho this stamp set is discontinued there are MANY more to take its place. Try "Rejoicing With You" on page 21 in the catalog or a greeting from the sets on 12 & 13. Lots of choices.

Merry Christmas

Well it's almost time to start your Christmas cards! Or maybe yours are already done? :) if not here's one to get your creative juices going. This card features the Core'dinations Cherry Cobbler CS. Don't you LOVE the white core? It gives it a rustic feel while remaining elegant. Happy Stamping!!!

Acorn Thank You

Here's that cool DSP again- Howlstooth & Scaringbone. I used the discontinued "Movers & Shapers" die with the Curly Label window. If you were fortunate enough to get this die... USE IT!!! It is so very cool. Have a happy day!!!

Give Thanks

3 cheery colors when the weather outside is a little drab!!! Tangerine Tango, Tempting Turquoise, & Daffodil Delight. Can't feel "blue" with those three staring at you!!!

Happy Birthday flag card

Here's a fun card using some DSP that I love!!! Such a simple card but so cute. I like to show simple cards because sometimes simple is the very best way!! Imagine this card using soft pinks & blues for a baby shower, or floral designs for a feminine card. Plus it's so easy to reproduce! The strips used for the flags are cut at 1 1/2" wide. Remember to use your square punch to cut perfect flag ends. See photo below.

A Note of Thanks

As you can tell I really like the wood grain embossing folder! Especially with the Early Espresso white core paper! Such a cool look & texture to add to your cards or scrapbook pages. And as always I LOVE Stampin Ups DSPs!!!
This would also be an awesome template for a Christmas card!

On Color Gate Card

Sometimes I forget about the In Color family so I did this card that uses only In Color colors. Cut at 11 x 4 1/4 then folded evenly to the center it makes a cool gate card. Sometimes it's good to pull yourself out of "the box" & use different colors. Have fun!

All white wedding card

I apologize fir the yellow-ness of this picture so imagine its all white. :) Beautiful for a wedding or anniversary card. This card really can't have too much on it so use your imagination with the dies & punches you have on hand.

Savor Autumn!!!

I just had to post this picture I "stole" off Facebook! Doesn't it just make you want to curl up in front of your wood stove, sip tea & watch the fire? Beautiful! Hope your Friday has been awesome!

Class enrollment deadline

Hello everyone,
Just a quick reminder that this weekend is the deadline for enrollment for next weeks card class!!! Fun cards coming up...you don't want to miss it!!!

Wishing You....

Heres a cute way to make a flower using your 1 1/4" circle punch & DSP.
This idea came from my friend, Sandy.
Punch 6 circles from any DSP then fold the circle to make a point on 1 side. This point will go toward the center of your "flower". A trick to getting your finished flower in the center of your 2 1/2" opening is to construct your flower with your card shut. I used Crumb Cake ink on Crumb Cake CS when stamping the script.

Beautiful grapes!!!

Here's what I'm doing today! Aren't they beautiful? The juice will taste so yummy this winter!

Items of Interest

Here are some photos from this last week. As you can very well see our garden is...uh...done. This year it was so awesome that even tho it was a lot of work I still am sad to see it go. There are some of our potatoe harvest...still haven't dug them all, our last tomatoes, our THREE heaping wheelbarrows of buttercup squash & my "Cowboy Candy" or "Candied jalapenoes". They are awesome & my guys wish I would have made a lot more. Maybe I can "bum" a few my JalapeƱos from a friend.
The cinnamon rolls have nothing to do with the garden....you gathered that?
Our friend, Wolfgang, was here from Germany & it is tradition that I make him "sweet buns" so I did.
Well Happy Sunday.... May you have a very restful, blest day!!!

Happy Face Kind

Get your punches ready! This card is pretty much ALL punches! Have fun!!!

Stampin Up offers single stamps!!!

Yep it's true. Stampin Up is trying out selling single stamps. There are 3 sets that can be purchased singly:
Pg. 132 Perfectly Penned
Pg. 135 Word Play
Holiday Catalog pg. 34 Seasonal Sayings
I posted pictures but you might want to mark them in your catalogs.

The Best is yet to Be!!!

Here is a very showy card that will impress your friends!!! :) Here's how you cut it:
CS is cut at 12" x 5 1/2"
Place on your scoring tool & score at 2", 4", 8" & 10"
(scoring FROM the 5 1/2" side)
Now from the 12" side cut ( with your paper cutter) from the 2" score line to the 10" score line IN 1 1/2" from the long 12" side. Now you can fold as shown in the pictures. Embellish and you have a very interesting card!!!

Drippy Cake

Here's the recipe for the cake we had at card class.
Drippy Cake
Prepare & bake 1 yellow cake mix as directed on box in a 9x13 cake pan.
When done poke many holes all over cake , clear to the bottom. Mix 1 15 oz can cream of coconut with 1 can sweetened condensed milk. Pour mixture over hot cake. When completely cool top with whipping cream or cool whip. A great topping would be coconut pudding mixed in cool whip the topped with toasted coconut.

October 20th Take 10 Card Class

Hey there everyone!!!
The 1:00 pm class is FULL but the 9:00 am class still has some openings. Call, message or text me to get your spot!

Party This Way

Happy Fall!!! Whether we like it or not it is upon us!!!
Here's a card that you can change up in so many ways!!! Stampin Up! has do many awesome DSP's that it makes it easy to create this card over & over.
This uses the "Howlstooth & Scaringbone" DSP. Although it technically is Halloween paper (you all KNOW how I "love" Halloween) there are no skulls, spiders or witches on it which makes it the perfect masculine DSP!!! It is one of my favorite DSPs.
So have fun with this design & see what YOU can do with it!
