Here's a great birthday card that has an extra little bonus of a pop out inside!! The outside of the card is pretty self explanatory so I'll just explain the inside.
Cut white cs 8x5
Fold on half
1" down from top of white folded card cut a 1 1/2" cut INTO fold
2" down from top cut 1 1/2" into fold
3" down from top cut 1 1/4" into fold
4" fine from top cut 1" into fold
Now score from edge if cuts down to next edge of cut. This allows you to fold the presents out. Before you try to fold them, adhere white inside with cuts & scores to Not Quite Navy outside card. Only put adhesive on the very top & bottoms & sides being careful not to adhere presents down. NOW you can pop those presents out & shut card giving it a good strong fold, pressing with your hands.
Cut DSP strips to cover each layer of presents: 1"x3" 1" x 2 1/2" 1"x2"
There you have it!!! So cute & fun!!

Greetings of the Season
Yes it is "Merry Christmas" for me but some of my saying are otherwise. In class we use all kinda of sayings so as to have enough to go around.
This is such a pretty card that was created out of having TOO many scraps! It is so simple but I think it's the prettiest one we did in class! Change up the colors & DSP and you can make this your own special design!!

Striped Merry Christmas
Here's those Scentsational Framelits again. They are so fun & easy to use. Remember the days when we had to cut out everything by hand? Well not with Framelits! Isn't this Christmas DSP so cute? I loved every design in this pack!
Enjoy & I hope you have a Happy Friday!!!

Ornament Christmas
This card combines some unlikely Christmas colors ( in my opinion) . But after putting them together I really like them! This card it super simple too!!! I think that the "bundles" in the holiday catalog were a great idea also. Anyway here it is : a Baja Breeze & Chocolate Chip card.

Wishing You....
Heres a cute way to make a flower using your 1 1/4" circle punch & DSP.
This idea came from my friend, Sandy.
Punch 6 circles from any DSP then fold the circle to make a point on 1 side. This point will go toward the center of your "flower". A trick to getting your finished flower in the center of your 2 1/2" opening is to construct your flower with your card shut. I used Crumb Cake ink on Crumb Cake CS when stamping the script.

Triple Time Stamping
Here is a super simple but awesome looking card!!! The white pieces that you stamp on are cut at:
2 x 3 1/4
3 x 4 1/4
4 x 5 1/4
Stack those one on top of the other like you were going to mount them on a card putting a tiny but of adhesive on back to assure they do not move whole stamping ,then stamp making sure to have some images go over all three pieces. Yes there will be some part of the images close to the card stock that will be fuzzy but they will be covered up when you mount on colored card stock. Then take apart that little stack you just stamped on.
Cut your colored card stock 1/4" bigger than each white piece & mount.

Polka Dot Birthday
I posting two different samples today. The first one is a step up from the 2nd one. The second one we did in class... Due to a time limit. But you can see that the framelits & embossing really added to the finished product!!! Change up the colors & see what you get....although I will say these colors are really COOL!!! Have a great weekend!!!

Hang in there!
Here is a lovely card that I can wait to tell you about! Several months ago we did the Elmo card. We used the Scallop Oval die. Well the due has 3 parts. The outside which we used for the Elmo, the inside oval then this scallop oval frame which we used here. I saved them (of course) so when dreaming us a tulip card I tho "Ahha, I know what I'll do with them!!!"
So here it is!!! Beautiful frame! Always have loved this tulip- so sad it is discontinued!!
So have fun with this card!!!!

Just Because I Care
Here's a masculine card to start your week with. I have always loved to do collage-y type cards. With this type of card there's really no right & wrong. It's kind if a free style that shows your own personality. I used some colors that normally aren't put together which was fun. Now....go stamp!!!

Sweet Friend
Happy Monday afternoon!!! Here in Central Oregon it is hot!!! We are very thankful for our A/C.
Here's a beautiful feminine card that I really enjoyed making. I loved this patterned paper & am sad it s discontinued. But , alas , there is so many pretty DSP in the new catalog that there should be no problem finding something beautiful to take its place! The patterned paper is cut at
3 3/4" x 5 1/2" and the pull out piece is cut at 3 1/2" x 4 1/2"

Nautical Thinking of You
Sometimes it's nice to do things a little "off keelter"! I like how the main picture on this card is crooked. This uses a great combo of blue & yellow. And I have always loved ships for masculine cards. The clouds are done with a stencil I copied from a friend....so I'm not a lot of help on the clouds. But if you live local feel free to come copy it from me.

PIZZA!!!!
Here's another great card for a summer invitation to a PARTY!!!! Who would think you could make a pizza with punches!!! Ha ha! Have fun with this one!!! It was a blast to make!!! I used Cajun Craze CS and ink for background, pizza sauce, and pepperoni. The Triple Blossom Punch in Certainly Celery makes the peppers. So cute!!!!

Bubbly Fish
Sorry this picture is so bad...not sure what happened....
What a fun kids card! You'll need a brayer and some small bubble wrap. Ink up your brayer with the blue of your choice then roll over the bubble wrap. Lay your Glossy white CS on inked bubble wrap, glossy side down. Press all over to transfer ink, being careful not to smear. Remove and stamp fish & greeting of choice. I have done this card NUMEROUS times....and always with rave reviews!
