So very masculine!! Here's a great card for that handsome man in your life!! The DSP I used is discontinued but SU! has some great ones to substitute with. 

Look Up To Father

Next Sunday is Fathers Day. So here's a cool masculine card for that special Daddy, Papa or Father in your life. Sometimes monochromatic is the way to go on a masculine card & it deffinitely was on this one. And don't you love this stamp? Notice I cut the stamp & greeting apart so that I could use them separately. It's not hard to do. Since this stamp comes only in woodmount, before you take the sticker cover off use very sharp scissors or exacto knife & make a clean cut between the words & image. Then mount the tree on the large flat side of the wood & the greeting on one end of the wood block & place stickers on corresponding sides. That way you can use them independent of each other. Enjoy your day & happy stamping!!

Ugly Paper???

Ok maybe not UGLY but we all have those sides of DSP that we don't care for.... Right? Here's a card that uses that _  _ _ _ paper. Just cut up random patterns of DSP into strips, add a coordinating strip of CS , a greeting and you're good to go!! So simple & a great way to use up...uh... SCRAPS!!

Sailboat Thanks

Here's another one of the shower thank yous I did. I have had this set (Seasonal Solids) since I first started in SU! about 15 yrs ago!! It's one of those sets you can never get rid of because you love it so much, you know?

For Your Shower

Im attending a baby shower today. So OF COURSE I had to make a super special card for the mom to be!! Here it is... A little baby quilt. Very fun to make & super cool to give!

Lucky Happy Birthday

Here's a cute card that anyone would feel lucky to receive! It just uses the large heart punch (discontinued item from SU!)
But you could create this shamrock with any heart punch. Then we just free handed the stem. Very simple! Whether you use patterned paper on solid like I did here or solid paper on patterned they are all adorable!!

Be My Valentine

We all need masculine Valentines! And sometimes they are hard to come up with. Here's one that just might do for that special man in your life. I used that awesome DSP called Well Worn. It is (BTW) on the SU! Clearance rack. It's just a great all around masculine paper & the cool thing is is that if you look at it, it has red in it which TOTALLY makes it "legal" for Valentines Day!!! :) Have fun with this!

Give Thanks

Well Thanksgiving is almost here so this will be my last "fall-ish" card. I love the look of ink on glossy paper. And I'm very fond of leaves so this combo was fun. Have fun with this card & I hope you all have a very Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Happy Birthday Horse

I really have enjoyed the Pennant die & punch. You can use them for SO many things! And you know that's what I love to do......take an ordinary punch & use it in a different way. ( more on that later) Plus this DSP(Howlstooth & Scaringbone) is so fun to use. I would have never put Calypso Coral & Going Grey together. I guess that's why I love getting DSP because it forces me to use color combinations that I ordinarily wouldn't have. (My friend Jenny also helps me do that) :) I hope you enjoy this card!

Lets Party Plaid

What a fun way to give a gift card or candy!!! I showed the inside of this card so you could see the pocket. Little packets of flavored lemonade, gum, Laffy Taffy could also be put in the pocket.... The sky's the limit!!! Cut your CS at 11" x 4 1/4". Score at 2" then again at 4 1/2". Fold the 2" up for the pocket.

Here's a masculine card to start your week with. I have always loved to do collage-y type cards. With this type of card there's really no right & wrong. It's kind if a free style that shows your own personality. I used some colors that normally aren't put together which was fun. Now....go stamp!!!

Here is an awesome, bright birthday card! This card uses discontinued items but they all can certainly be substituted and not missed at all! As I mentioned to the ladies in class, when you have a cool DSP often times you feel like you are wasting the other side if no one can see it. This way you can show it off too by folding down one of the corners. Have fun & have a DElightful weekend!

Good morning!!! It's Monday & the beginning of a whole new week!!! I hope your weekend was full of memories & rest!
Here's a couple more cards that sport a persons age. My friend is turning 40 this month so I wanted to do a special card for her. Using the same number dies is an awesome way to put the age right there in front of everyone! Ha ha!!! Wouldn't want anyone to be in denial now would we? Have a great week & don't forget to STAMP!!!
