Blinking Snowman Pin

Isn't he adorable? And SOOOO very easy to make. You'll need the little battery operated tea lights (from Walmart , Bimart Dollar Tree or Outpost) , pin backs, CS & sweater trim from Stampin Up. These make good ornaments, pins or package toppers. One important instruction that you'll need to know is this: When making the face, take your 1/2" circle punch & Whisper White CS & punch as far in as the circle punch can go THEN punch your 1 3/8" circle around that to make a donut looking piece. Slide that piece down over the tea light "flame". That now lets his "nose" poke out. On the back, gauge where the switch is then use the 1/2 " punch to punch a hole so you're able to turn off & on.

Seasons Greetings

Here's a fun card. Definitely not just the same old Christmas card! Cut your CS at 11 x 4 1/4. Score (for closing flaps) at
2 3/4". Line inside flaps with DSP of choice, then from outside fold back top edge to flap folds. Line & stamp inside of main body of card. Use Snow Flurry die to cut snowflakes. After adhering them to each other attach to inside card with Velcro. Attach a string to make snowflakes an ornament. Make "belly band" to hold card together by cutting
an 11" x 1" piece of contrast CS. Place it on front of card & fold to back , this way you know it fits. Adhere ends & add a fun greeting on front.

Paper bag card

A new use for brown lunch bags! I really like making these cards for every occasion because you have that extra pocket to put in treats or a gift card or even money to make it super special. This one us Christmas-y but they are awesome for birthdays as well!

Cards!!!!

Are you looking for that last minute Christmas gift for that person who has everything? I still have handmade cards for sale!!! Call, text or message me!!!

Grandmas Apron

Here's a card that I saw online & made my own pattern. Its easy to do. It's a regular sized card, folded on the left, with the top two corners cut down to create the apron. Use any DSP to create the pattern if apron "material" you want. I used the Delicate Design Embossing folder to create the "pocket" & the Holiday Collection Framelits to cut the gingerbread man & candy cane. Everyone loved this card in class. Great card for someone who is in the kitchen alot & bakes up alot of love!

Greetings of the Season

Yes it is "Merry Christmas" for me but some of my saying are otherwise. In class we use all kinda of sayings so as to have enough to go around.
This is such a pretty card that was created out of having TOO many scraps! It is so simple but I think it's the prettiest one we did in class! Change up the colors & DSP and you can make this your own special design!!

Merry Christmas!!

Hope everyone is all ready for Christmas!!
All my cards are sent, baking is done except for a few dinners to attend. I am behind tho on some scrapbook calendar gifts... That's ok. All the recipients understand the work that goes into them so they forgive me for not having them to them by Christmas. I will be posting class cards today. Sorry to have kept you waiting but I have been "up to my ears in alligators"!!! Keep watching.....

Enjoy & I hope you have a Happy Friday!!!

3-D Ornament

There are many variations of this card. So simple... So beautiful! Basically you stamp the ornaments, cut them out or run thro the Big Shot with ornament Framelits. Then fold exactly in half from top to bottom. You then adhere them to each other on both sides of front ornament creating a flat side on back then adhere that to card onto the oval in the middle of the embossed front. Add ribbon & greeting & you have a gorgeous card!!!

Apple Pie Bars

This great recipe can be simplified with using apple pie filling. I used my home canned filling but you can certainly purchase canned filling from the store.
CRUST: 2 c flour
1/2 c sugar
1/2 t baking powder
1/2 t salt
1 c butter
2 egg yolks beaten reserve whites
Combine dry ingredients & cut in butter till crumbly. Mix in yolks, will be crumbly.
Press 1/2 of this mixture into bottom of 9x13 baking pan. Set remaining mixture aside for topping.
FILLING: 4 c apples peeled & sliced
1/2 c sugar
1/4 c flour
1 t cinnamon
1/4 t nutmeg
Mix all & spread over crust. Top with remaining crumbs. Brush with beaten egg whites. Bake at 350• for 40 min. Serve with whipped cream.

Taco Dip

Cozy Mug Card

Doesn't this card make you want to go on a sleigh ride wrapped up in a fuzzy plaid blanket? Ok well maybe that's stretching it a bit but still it looks cozy! This DSP is Frostwood Lodge from last year but the DSPs from this year will look just as awesome! Add the sweatertrim ribbon & you have....well a cozy card!!!

Isn't this paper cool? It's already embossed with 6 different designs. It's also heavy duty. Paired with Very Vanilla CS creates a lovely card.

Always Artichoke Merry Christmas

Here's a very simple card....I'll tell you how to make it even simpler than how I made it!!! Cut your CS 11 x 4 1/4" . From one end score at 5 1/2" and again at
1 1/2". Tear the 1 1/2" end down to approx 1". Fold at the 5 1/2" score line & then at the 1 1/2" so that it folds down in the front. Next make your window with the Framelits of choice. Tie a ribbon around the folded down flap tying clear around back of card. This is easier than how we did it. We tried to put skinny adhesive down the sides of the pocket. Just tie your ribbon around the entire card- it's way simpler!
Then create your pull out card. Cut a piece of CS 5 1/4" x 4". Then mount a piece of cream card stock (5x 3 3/4")on top. Stamp your greeting & window picture making sure to mark where to stamp for your window. Try this with reds & poinsettias!!!

Happy Fall Y'all

Isn't she the CUTEST scarecrow you ever did see??? And really very simple!
Her hat top, brim & face are all the Top Note die. We sure had fun making her in class!

Tuxedo Birthday

I told you there would be more on the pennants later.... Here it is!
When I saw this card online I KNEW we had to do it in class!!! So simple but oh so elegant!!!

Fall-ish Happy Birthday

Coupled with the wood grain embossing folder the Wonderfall stamp set is so cool! Then add the Autumn Accents die, it's really fun!!! I love fall anyway so I'm a sucker for any new stamp sets or accessories that have to do with fall!! Enjoy! And have a great time in these last beautiful days of Fall before the earth is robed in a cloak of white!!!

Warm Winter Wishes

Here's another snowy card. You'd think I was praying for snow!!! NOT!!!
Switch up the greetings & you could have a beautiful simple Christmas card. This way it's not decidedly Christmas...just wintery.

Happy Birthday Horse

I really have enjoyed the Pennant die & punch. You can use them for SO many things! And you know that's what I love to do......take an ordinary punch & use it in a different way. ( more on that later) Plus this DSP(Howlstooth & Scaringbone) is so fun to use. I would have never put Calypso Coral & Going Grey together. I guess that's why I love getting DSP because it forces me to use color combinations that I ordinarily wouldn't have. (My friend Jenny also helps me do that) :) I hope you enjoy this card!

Mitten Thank You

We always need "wintery" thank you cards. Here's one that could be Christmas-y or not! The mitten punch is one of the CUTEST punches Stampin Up! has ever had!!

Gingerbread Man Christmas

A smiley little gingerbread man to cheer you today! Isn't he adorable???
One thing I LOVE about the Framelits is that they are always perfect!!! Not to mention so easy! So here's my cute little post for today. Have fun with it! If you need to order Stampin Up ! products or you NEED to cone to class, please call or text me at 541-410-1855

Lets Party Plaid

What a fun way to give a gift card or candy!!! I showed the inside of this card so you could see the pocket. Little packets of flavored lemonade, gum, Laffy Taffy could also be put in the pocket.... The sky's the limit!!! Cut your CS at 11" x 4 1/4". Score at 2" then again at 4 1/2". Fold the 2" up for the pocket.
