Ugly Paper???

Ok maybe not UGLY but we all have those sides of DSP that we don't care for.... Right? Here's a card that uses that _  _ _ _ paper. Just cut up random patterns of DSP into strips, add a coordinating strip of CS , a greeting and you're good to go!! So simple & a great way to use up...uh... SCRAPS!!

Thanks Moon & Star

Using a 2 1/2" circle punch, make a 1/2 moon. Mount the moon & star
(discontinued punch) on a DSP piece that has been run thru the Big Shot with Top Note Bigz Die. Stamp your greeting on a large oval then mount on a Scallop Oval. Add coordinating ribbon & you're DONE!

Soccer Birthday

Love this soccer card!! If you have a soccer fan in your circles then THIS is a must to make!! Soooooo easy!! It just uses SU! hexagon punch & the Dots embossing folder. The Basic Black card base is standard size. The you cut a Garden Green  piece of CS 4" x 5 1/4".
Except for the green peeking thru between the pieces it will be completely covered. I started with the whole white piece on the right hand middle EDGE of the card. Then work from there following the pattern of 1 black surrounded by white. After you've adhered all the pieces the trim the excess that's hanging off the edges of the card flush with the Garden Green. THEN run it thru your Big Shot in the dots embossing folder. So cool!

Piglet

Ok I admit it... I ADORE Piglet!! He's 2nd to Winnie the Pooh. Anyway here he is.. So cute & pink...
And he's easy to make! The Owl Punch makes up his body, head, eyes & nose. Free handed eyebrows & mouth. Word window punch legs & arms. The Bird Builder punch (wing) is his ears. Isn't he sweet???!! I used a grass & cloud stencil for the background. Everyone in class loved him! Have fun!!

Sweet Bunny

Last Easter card this year. Isn't this bunny adorable? All he is is just Framelits & the large oval punch!! Add some standard hole punches for eyes & 1/2" circle punch for nose. The whiskers are free handed with a marker. Such a sweet little face!!
Have a very Happy Easter!! How grateful I am for the Hope Easter gives us all. To think that God gave His only Son to die for me overwhelms me with His love!! Everyday is a blessed gift because of that hope & love!! May your Easter be blessed as you not only remember His love but embrace it as well!!!

"They that wait upon The Lord..."

Another manly card for my friends son. Love the clean lines on this card. You notice I used the Top Note die peeking out over the top? Can you tell I LOVE this die?? Top Note die is so so versatile!!
The eagle was printed on my computer...it's not a stamp. Masculine cards are sometimes hard to come up with so I LOVE sharing each one with you!! Have an awesome day!!

Covered Peppermint Patties

And the cutest of coverings I might add!!!
I used the 2 3/8" scallop circle, 1 3/4" circle, Word Window punch, 1 1/4" square punch, Tiny heart from the 3 heart punch (discontinued but you could use the one in the owl builder punch) ribbon, wiggle eyes, & standard hole punch.
They were SOOO fun to make & even more fun to give away!!  I attached it to a tag but he goes solo quite well!!

St.Patricks Day Puppy Chow

Nautically Yours!!

Ok... I've put off getting the "By The Tide"set for aloooong time. But I see it ALOT online in samples so I broke down & get it. If you don't have it... It IS a "must get"!! Here's a cool masculine card pairing "By the Tide" & " The Open Sea".
Cherry Cobbler & Smoky Slate SURE look good together, don't you think?
The card closure is made using the Tag Topper punch. I love that punch!

Embossed Vellum

I have always loved vellum but as you know it canbe a little touchy to work with. It shows finger prints, creases & adhesives... Well this was an easy way to use vellum. Just cut to size & run thru your Big Shot!! It embossed it so nicely! Then I adhered it in the corners & added some "corners" to the card. (Just a square punch cut in 1/2) I really liked how it turned our!!

Fat Little Easter Bunny

Except for his nose & eyes he's constructed completely with ovals!! I used framelits for his body & the Large & Extra large oval punches for his ears, arms & legs. Then the egg he's holding is  the small oval. I found that polka dot paper was the best for him...I don't know it just made him cuter!!:) Add whiskers with a black marker & a tiny greeting.
Cute for any age!!

Pastel Easter Blessings

Here's another easy one!  But THIS one is just in time for Easter. Remember more difficult isn't always better... I've had TONS of compliments on some of the simplest cards!! The thing I love about this card is the tulips... You know what I made them out of?? The wing out of the Bird Builder punch. Isn't that so cool? I also used the leaf from the Bird Builder Punch. Sweet...soft....simple...

Minnie Mouse

Awwww here she is... Minnie herself! So simple but so sweet! I embossed the dots on the background to add some texture. The bow is just hearts & 1/2" circle punch.

Chicken Happy Bday

Don't you just love this little gal??  This chicken is all heart... Literally!! I used the heart framelit for her body, embossed it with the dots folder, then the wings & top notch are hearts too!! Everyone at class fell in love with her!! The chicken wire stamp is discontinued but even a wood background stamp would look fine. I used the word window punch for the fence. So so cute!!

Happy Birthday Eagle

Here's a fun masculine card for ya!!  The eagle is a clip art off my computer. I thot he  was so pretty I couldn't resist using him on this card I made for a friend.
This is a gate card so the scallop circle behind the eagle "holds" it together & the greeting below is connected on the opposite side. The two brads just add a little eye catcher. Niiiiice!!!

Baby Booties

Oh baby!!! What a sweet card for a sweet bundle of joy!! I used the stocking punch but cut the stocking shorter so they looked more like booties than stockings. The colors on the card were Wisteria Wonder, Daffodil Delight &  Pear Pizzaz.
I also used the stripes embossing folder, the ribbon punch & a punch that is not SU! sorry...Add your greeting & a bow!
You could totally make it primarily pink or blue if you know the gender of the new arrival. Have fun & happy April!!
Still have a few spaces left in my April 12 class!! Call or  text ASAP!!
