25 th Anniversary Party

On July 20,2012 my family & some of our very special friends hosted a big celebration for Steve & I's 25th anniversary! It was so much fun!!! We had around 70 wonderful friends come to celebrate with us & we had an awesome time!!! To see so many of our friends in one spot was very touching! It was a very special night!!!

French Chocolate Pie

Melt over low heat:
1/2 c butter
3/4 c sugar
2 squares unsweetened chocolate
Cool completely then add:
2 eggs beating after adding each one
Fold in: 2 c thawed cool whip
Pour into deep dish graham cracker crust. Freeze until firm.

Spinach Dip

1 pkg(10oz) fresh baby spinach or
1 pkg(10 oz) frozen spinach thawed
& squeezed dry
16oz sour cream
1 c mayonnaise
1 pkg Knorr vegetable soup mix
1 (8oz) can water chestnuts, drained &
chopped
3 green onions chopped
Mix all together. Chill about 4 hrs
Serve Ina hollowed out sour dough bowl. Use hollowed out pieces to dip.

Hello everyone & Happy Happy Tuesday!!! I just posted a "Strawberry Blossom" card with NO LABELS!!!
I am JUST learning to blog from my phone so was unsure of how to go about the whole process!!! Sorry about that! So here are the labels. If you all could comment & let me know how it all comes out I would be SOOOO happy!!!

Strawberry Blossom

Here is a stinking cute card made with the embossed heart die. Doesn't it just smack of summer? Great for any type of card.... Thank you, thinking of you or birthday.

More masculine stuff. I hear from all my ladies that masculine cards are the hardest for them to figure out & make.I try to concentrate on have several each month. This one uses interesting colors.

Ship & Stars

Can you tell I love the star punch? I use it all the time!!! Here's another one. Great masculine card. And the lattice embossing folder is one of my faves too!  Oh and here's my favorite colors again...only this time I added More Mustard. 

Fancy Fold Card

Here's a little fancy folding for you to do!!! Here's the instructions too. It is really easy to do. But looks difficult.
I used the Flower Garden DSP and coordinating CS. Makes a great graduation card!!! Add a brad & tassel to top diamond and there's the graduation hat!!!

Lady Bug

Fun little lady bug card!!! Again.....punches! Don't you LOVE it??? Punches are so fast & fun!

Homegrown

World Spectacular DSP is so AWESOME!!! Here is a masculine card that I love the colors on!!! I have always loved the Homegrown Stamp set!!! So here is a great way to use it.

PIZZA!!!!

Here's another great card for a summer invitation to a PARTY!!!! Who would think you could make a pizza with punches!!!  Ha ha! Have fun with this one!!! It was a blast to make!!! I used Cajun Craze CS and ink for background, pizza sauce, and pepperoni. The Triple Blossom Punch in Certainly Celery makes the peppers. So cute!!!!

Angry Birds

Don't you just love "Angry Birds"? If you don't know what it is...you better ask the kid in your life!!! Here is "Angry Birds" at it's finest!!! So fun and easy to make!!! Again....dies and punches!!!
I just printed the greeting on my computer.

Hamburger Bday card

Here's a card that would make a great invitation  to a BBQ!!! And I LOVE it cuz it's all punches!!! Have fun!!!

Chevron Embossed card

This doesn't show the colors very well. But I really love Daffodil  Delight and Night of Navy together. And LOVE the new Chevron Embossing folder. It turned out so elegant.

Celebrate Red White & Blue

July Card Class was a week early.  Here are a couple variations of the same card. This top one is the one I made for my husbands birthday on July 5th. The stripes on the bottom of this one is on the silver sparkly paper.They are drawn with a red Sharpie marker using a straight edge. Loved the look of this.

This is the variation we did in class. 
Remember how I love Red, white, and blue? Well....? Even tho this card uses a discontinued set you can still use the above method to make stripes...even with out sparkly paper.

Circle of Squares

LOVE LOVE this card!!! Great way to use your DSP. I always love cards that use punches. Cut 2 pieces of Very Vanilla CS to 3"x3" then mount to form a star...this part you can barely see. Then use your punches to punch solid CS and DSP. Mount DSP squares onto solid squares the start in one point of the "star" you have created with the 2 3x3" squares of Very Vanilla. Continue on each point. Finish with a flower & brad in center. Looks difficult but so easy!

Bubbly Fish

Sorry this picture is so bad...not sure what happened....
What a fun kids card! You'll need a brayer and some small bubble wrap. Ink up your brayer with the blue of your choice then roll over the bubble wrap. Lay your Glossy white CS on inked bubble wrap, glossy side down. Press all over to transfer ink, being careful not to smear. Remove and stamp fish & greeting of choice. I have done this card NUMEROUS times....and always with rave reviews!

Box Fold Card

Great way to use & show off your DSP!!! Use any patterned paper & have fun!!! Cut a piece of DSP and solid CS at 8"x4". Mount the DSP on top of the solid CS in a cross manner. Score & fold all sides in. Embellish and fold box style. So fun!!!

Here is a STINKIN cute card from my friend, Char Wilson. Done all with punches & dies it is quick & easy. A sweet little card to send in the Spring.

Embossed Scallop Circle

 Hello and happy Tuesday!!! Here is a great card that can be cute or elegant. Great card for Christmas, too.  This is made with the Scallop circle die. I love the embossed white. I made this around Easter so that's why the colors are the way they are.

IMAGINE!!!

This is a fun card to switch up....colors, brads, etc....
You can really make it fun!!! I used 3 colors  but you could certainly use more!!! It could be feminine or masculine...It could even be a great one for kids if you used bright primary colors!!!

This was a fun card to do!!! A pull out bookmark makes it interesting. Even thought it uses discontinued DSP you can certainly use ANY fun DSP to make it just a pretty!

Love the World Spectacular DSP!!! It can look kid-ish but yet masculine too. This card looks carnival-ish to me. Have fun with this switching the DSPs around to make it your own.
