Game Night

Here's a fun card with a latch fold or a game night invitation or just a birthday. Game pieces are cut out by hand ( much to everyone at card class' dismay) and arranged however makes you happy. Even tho the stamp sets used here are discontinued, the card design is so cool
That you could use it for any occasion!

Scrappy Birthday

So simple & carefree! You can use any DSP and even make this card feminine if you want to. I love it because theres no measuring for the brads. Add a tad bit of sponged on color & youre done!!

Nautical Happy Birthday

Any nautical stamp can be used in place if the anchor....but I LOVE the colors in this card.  This card makes me think of a little boy... Calypso Coral & Pacific Point... A great combo.

Pac Man rides again!!!

Truly a "5 second" card!! Do you recognize the punches?? You know... I said I was NEVER gonna get the owl punch cuz I really don't like owls!! But after I saw all the cool things that the owl punch is used for... I got it AND we've used it every month since then!! "Never say never!!"
Have fun!!

Snap Shots of Summer

Ahhhh the bliss of summer!! Visitors from England brought out the best in the B&D Blackpot Cookers. They are getting really good!!
Here they are with their new aprons.
A lazy Sunday evening roping in the yard has the doggies running for cover when they hear the whir of the ropes!
Great time with some friends from Id that the boys met at Booher Family Music Camp last summer. They stayed overnight & jammed with the boys.

NOW  I MUST get done cards on here....

Saturday Card Class

Saturday class was so fun!! Thanks to all who came & made it a great success!!
We made some really fun cards & had some tasty treats!!
This cottage cheese/sour cream dip we've had before so I won't include the recipe as I've posted it on here.
We also had Mini Cherry Cheesecakes.
They are super simple & you can make the gluten free by just leaving out the graham crackers.
It simply layering cherry pie filling, graham  cracker crumbs & cheesecake layer.
Cheesecake Layer:
8 oz cream cheese
8 oz cool whip
1/2 c or less sugar
Vanilla
Mix well. Layer accordingly. I topped with whipped cream. Enjoy!!

Tea Time

Here's a sweet card for your tea drinkin pals! Some of us don't "do coffee" so it's nice to do a tea card once in awhile! Choose your DSP ( note these in this pictures are NOT SU! DSPs) and create a pocket just the size for your tea bag to slip in, add your ribbon, embellishments & greetings. Make sure you have a yummy tea to tuck in the pocket & I even stamped & cut out a little tea cup. Another really cute idea is attaching a honey stick (local health food store) into the knot. For those of us who LOVE tea this card is a winner for sure!!

Masking Tape Technique

Here's a really fun simple card!! Choose your colors then put masking tape ,sticky side down, on your ink pad. Press lightly inking entire piece minus finger holds to avoid inky fingers. Then press onto card front. Do all three (or however many colors you choose) then pull off leaving strips of ink on card front. Stamp your silhouette & greeting. Add embellishments.

Ahhhh Summer!!

Here's some wonderful things from this last week.
Here's a picture of a flower my mother in law got me on her way to visit us. It finally bloomed & is so beautiful!!
Below is our majestic Mt.Hood. We were honored to play for a memorial service for a friend in Portland so I couldn't resist snapping a few pictures on the road.

And here's MY first salmon of the year. It was a great day on the river with my three favorite men.

Celebrate!!!

This card can be for any occasion you want to ...well...celebrate!! But since it's in our countrys colors I like it for July 4th!
I just used the Tag Punch with the little Star Punch for the top & the Cupcake Builder Punch below. Save your stars (plus a few more) to attach to the crazy wire bow. Adorable!!!
