Openings in the May class!!!

If you want to get in on some FUN!!!.... Call, text or message me & get signed up for the May 18th class!!! There are 3 openings in the am class & 2 openings in the pm class! Grab a friend & come have a great time making cards!!! You make 10 cards & you don't have to be creative or even use your brain!!! Everything is cut for you, everything is supplied for you. Pop Out Card

Here's a great birthday card that has an extra little bonus of a pop out inside!! The outside of the card is pretty self explanatory so I'll just explain the inside.
Cut white cs 8x5
Fold on half
1" down from top of white folded card cut a 1 1/2" cut INTO fold
2" down from top cut 1 1/2" into fold
3" down from top cut 1 1/4" into fold
4" fine from top cut 1" into fold
Now score from edge if cuts down to next edge of cut. This allows you to fold the presents out. Before you try to fold them, adhere white inside with cuts & scores to Not Quite Navy outside card. Only put adhesive on the very top & bottoms & sides being careful not to adhere presents down. NOW you can pop those presents out & shut card giving it a good strong fold, pressing with your hands.
Cut DSP strips to cover each layer of presents: 1"x3" 1" x 2 1/2" 1"x2"
There you have it!!! So cute & fun!!

Here's a sweet Mothers Day card that is for a friends daughter in law. Love these soft shaded blossoms. They look so realistic this way. I have always loved this set but this is by far the prettiest way to use it.

Graduation

Well it's that time if year... My baby is graduating this year as well! You're always safe doing grad cards in black, white & silver. Use your DSP & create this awesome grad card. Then use the same template for some bright spring birthday cards!! Have an awesome weekend!!

Pinwheel Happy Birthday

Don't you just love pinwheels? They bring back great memories of my childhood! Now you can make them in every color!! Remember the Spring mini catalog will expire on May 31 ( my earlier mistake saying the end of April...sorry) so order it while you can! Pair it with the cloud embossing folder & you create a very "springy" card... Have fun!

Saturday card class treats

What a great day we are having here at card class!! Here are the recipes for the goodies we had.
Layered Taco Dip
1 (30oz) can refrained beans
Spread in 9x13 pan
16 oz sour cream
1 pkg taco seasoning
Mix together & spread over beans.
4 or 6 avocados
Mash & drizzle with lemon juice.
Add 1/4 c salsa & mix well. Spread over beans & sour cream.
Sprinkle chopped onions, grated cheese, tomatoes & olives over top. Serve with chips.

Easy Cream Cheese Danish
2 cans crescent rolls
8 oz cream cheese at room temp
1/2 c sugar
1 t lemon juice
3/4 t vanilla
1 t sour cream
Do not unroll crescent rolls. Slice as you would rolled up cinnamon rolls. Place on greased cookie sheets & press fingers into tops to make an indentation.
Mix cream cheese, sugar, juice, vanilla & sour cream & put a dollop into each indentation. Bake at 350• for 15-20 min.
Cool 15 min then frost with frosting below:
1 c powdered sugar
1T milk
1 T soft butter

Extra Pennants

What do you do when a die cuts out 2 things at the same time? Well that was my dilemma as I cut out the biggest pennant for one of my cards for card class today. I had 23 little pennants so I put them to use. Here's what I came up with. I hope you enjoy them.

Hello hello & Happy Sunday!!!! Hope everyone is enjoying their day of rest!!!
Just a quick reminder that card class is NEXT Saturday the 20th. We will be doing some FUN stuff including Mothers Day cards. So get ready !!! Also remember that the mini catalog ends this month so make sure to order what you need out of there before its gone!! The new catalogs start the first of June so if you want a catalog I need to know this month ( they are $4 each) so I can preorder them.
Color changes are happening so make sure you get the ones you need that are being retired.

Going going gone!!!

It always upsets my apple cart just a little when anyone plays with my colors!!! But in the end it's always a positive change. Yes, Stampin Up is "refreshing" our colors! It IS a cool change although I will miss Not Quite Navy!!! It has become a fave of mine. Check put the list here:

A fun fun card to send to your favorite coffee drinker! I used the Comfort Cafe DSP & I think it is so cute in this card.
Just the touch of Not Quite Navy & Early Espresso just sets off these cute coffee images. Have fun with this card & have an amazing weekend!!!

Hello & happy happy Thursday!!!
The week is winding down & the weather is so awesome it's hard to stay inside & create!!!
Here's the last card from March's card class. It uses Rich Razzleberry cs & the Sycamore Street DSP. A fun combo!

Mousey Happy Birthday

Yes you CAN make cheese without using milk!!! Just grab some Daffodil Delight cs & some circle punches & you have it!! Add a little grey mouse for personality.
Such a fun card!!

Sweet Friend

That crazy Blossom Builder Punch keeps showing up doesn't it? For the Hershey's Kiss you just trim the bottom off of the large petal & there it is! So simple!!! A perfect card for any sweet friend!

Happy Birthday Candles

Once again the Blossom Petals Builder is used in this card... this time for the candle flame. I used 2011-2013 In Colors on this card. Also the Curly Label coupled with the Petite Curly Label SAB punch. Fun fun!!!
