Cheese Cake Pie

Fur graham cracker crust:
Here's the recipe fur the filling:

You can make the fresh strawberry sauce or buy a pie filling of choice.

My son who LOVES real cheesecake says this was a phenomenal recipe!  I was shocked because he is quite a connoisseur of fine cheesecakes! I thot he would turn his nose up at this "quickie, fake" version but he LOVED it!! They all declared it a "keeper" recipe!!

DSP at its Best!!

Old DSP but one of my favorites. Calypso Coral and Pool Party look so good together in this paper pack!!
The flowers are the Boho Flower punch & the leaves are from the Bird Builder punch. I added pearls to the center for a little extra... Happy Stamping!!

Bloomin Birthday

Oh this PAPER!!!! Wow! This DSP is called Fruit Stand. Don't you just love the vivid colors?
I used Flirty Flamingo for the card base & Watermelon Wonder to mount the greeting on. This card just turned out waaaay pretty! Simple design but delightfully pretty.

Ice Cream Cone

Summer is in the air so pull out your 2 3/8" Scallop Circle punch & your Clear Scallop Square die & get to churning up a cool ice cream card!!

I used the Lattice embossing folder on the "cone" & the Seaside embossing folder on the "ice cream scoops".
Score from one corner up to the 4th scallop from each front corner to get your  food. To get the white inside, you have to kinda "create it yourself". I took a piece of typing paper and laid one edge along fold then peeking underneath, I folded the other side up to where it matches opposite fold on card then cut along my fold in white paper. Cute cute!!

NEW NAUTICAL STUFF!!!

Most of you know that I love nautical papers & stamps...so... It should be NO suprise that I got this DSP first rattle out of the cage.....er...new catalog!!
It's called By the Shore & here's the patterns of this lovely pack:
Side one....and...
Side two!!
Aren't they lovely patterns?!?
Plus I used the new In Color, Dapper Denim! I really like the new In Colors!!
Just an FYI... I didn't have the Dapper Denim ink pad so I used Pacific Point & it coordinated well.

BRAVO!!

Since next month will be Independence Day month we did a patriotic card in class.
Here's a fun original design that uses whatever you have along the line of star punches (or framelits for that matter.)
I used the Confetti Stars Border punch & the discontinued Star punch. The Confetti Stars Border is in the new catalog but the other two star punches are not.  BUT the new catalog has the Medium Star Punch which would work just fine!! Also the Stars Framelits.
Using the Real Red & Night of Navy markers I made "star trails" on the Whisper White CS. Also I used the Dazzling Diamonds liquid sparkly glue on some of the stars. Sadly that isn't available anymore but here are several options: SEQUINS!! Or....
Here's a multi purpose glue that dries clear. Top it off with....
Stampin Glitter in Dazzling Diamonds!!
Lastly you could do Gold or Silver in the Dazzling Details glue. I just liked the clear iridescent-ness (is that a word?!?) of the kind I used. Anyway...
Happy Stamping!!
