Layered Taco Dip

Card class is under way & as always we are having a lovely time. Here's a little sample of what we are having today...
Layered Taco Dip is so fresh & yummy!
Start with refries beans. I used my home canned pintos & created refries. Spread on serving platter. Next layer is sour cream mixed with taco seasoning. Then comes the fun part. Add a layer of lettuce, cheese, olives, green onions.... Whatever your little heart desires. Serve with salsa & chips.

Individual No Bake Cheesecakes

Today is card class...which means there are 10 boxes full of fun awesome cards just waiting in anticipation for all my Stampin buddies to get here & have fun!
But it also means that right now... In my fridge... There are these cute little jars full of Raspberry Cheesecakes. My guys tested them last night & said that they are winners!!
Here's the recipe:
13 graham crackers, crushed
1/4 c butter, melted
Mix well & press into 1/2 pint jars or clear plastic cups.
Raspberry filling:
1 pint raspberries
1/4 c sugar
1 T lemon juice
1 T cornstarch
Bring to a boil. Simmer 5 min. Strain & cool. You can also use your choice or flavors, premade jam or pie filling to save time.
Cheesecake layer:
1 1/2 c heavy cream
1/3 c powdered sugar
Whip til peaks form.
Add 12 oz cream cheese
1/2 t lemon zest
1/2 t vanilla
1 c powdered sugar
Beat. Layer on top of graham crackers & top with whipped cream! Enjoy!

Botanical Thank You

Ooooooh I really love this DSP!
It's called Botanical Gardens & has such beeeeautiful colors!
I then used the 2 3/8" Scallop Circle Punch. Then layered it with other flower punches. Really... There's a lot of older or discontinued punches that will work just fine! Then fasten them all together with a gold brad. Super simple card but we love that at card class!

Fresh Colored Thank You

Oh I forgot how gorgeous these colors are together!!
Night of Navy, Old Olive, Very Vanilla & Crumb Cake.....makes for a great masculine color combo.
Here's what I did:
Old Olive embossed piece is 2"x4". Add Night of Navy torn pieces behind. Trim. Tag dimensions are 3 1/2"x 2 1/2". Using the hexagon punch you can cut a perfect corner for your tag.
Using the largest punch in the Ticket Punch, make the little tab for the top of tag
When your stamping the tag, you'll want to stamp the goose image then make a mask by stamping the goose on a sticky note (make sure you stamp the image so it has some sticky on the back of image)
Then cut out the goose image & stick it over your stamped image on your tag. Now ink up the grass stamp & stamp over the sticky note. Remove the sticky note & notice how the goose looks in front of the grass. Cool huh?
Add embellishments & greeting & you're done!!!

Hello Birthday Boy

So many ways this card could go...
AND... If you have this awesome DSP (free with $50 order) you have lots of color options!!
Here's the other colors in this DSP pack called Perfectly Artistic.
Pair it with the Hello set and you've got the makings of some fuuuuun cards for several different occasions.

Warmest (Coffee) Wishes

This card uses the fun set called "Timeless Textures". You can make awesome borders with this set & that's what we did here.
Here's a little "step up" addition that we did at card class. Hearts go on EVERYthing & I thot it was the perfect finish to this cute card.

Blossom Happy Easter

Crumb Cake & Pink Pirouette is just the perfect color combo for an Easter card!
Add a border punch on DSP, a few pearls  and an oval embossing window for your greeting.... And you have a very soft, sweet Easter card.
Love this card!!

A Basket of Eggs

Awww what a cute, fun, simple card!
All that in one card! Imagine that!
This card uses the Berry Basket die cut in 1/2. I stamped the berry basket with the Hardwood stamp to create "wood".
The Extra Large Oval punch is the eggs & then you can emboss crazy fun images to "decorate" them.

Tiny Balloon Birthday

I just HAD to use my tiny balloon punch!! So so cute!
Cut Soft Suede CS at 5 1/2" x 4 1/4"
Score from one end 3 3/4". Score from the other end 3 1/2". Then cut from score line to corner end, creating the angle cut for the front. Add DSP as a liner to inside (3 1/4"x 3 3/4")
Adhere flaps together & adhere along bottom edge so greeting card won't fall through.
Greeting is on white CS cut at 2 3/4"x 3 1/4". Stamp greeting.  Pacific Point is then cut at 3"x 3 1/2". Mount white on blue & insert into pocket. Add embellishments. So cute!
