Note: I do NOT use a serrated knife as it smashes the dough!
I use a piece of fishing line. Put it under the dough, bring it up over dough holding in each hand & cross it over pinching the dough off. You can also use dental floss. Another hint is I make brown butter frosting. Just melt a cube of butter over med heat & allow it to boil. It will change in sound & that's when you watch it very closely. It Browns FAST at that point.
Remove from heat & add powdered sugar, cream & vanilla to proper frosting consistency.
