Overnight Cinnamon Rolls

Note: I do NOT use a serrated knife as it smashes the dough!
I use a piece of fishing line. Put it under the dough, bring it up over dough holding in each hand & cross it over pinching the dough off. You can also use dental floss.
Another hint is I  make brown butter frosting. Just melt a cube of butter over med heat & allow it to boil. It will change in sound & that's when you watch it very closely. It Browns FAST at that point.
Remove from heat & add powdered sugar, cream & vanilla to proper frosting consistency.

Brewer Christmas Card 2015

Here's what I came up with for our family Christmas Card this year. Now that they are all sent out I can post it.
And our family picture...

I love this combination!! The Snowflake punch is so cool because the small flake mounts perfectly on the large one. Fun card and a great way to wish all our faraway friends a Merry Christmas!
Wishing you all a truly Merry Christmas & a happiest of Happy New Year!!

More Flurries....

On this one I added the new falling snow embossing folder to the two sets I was using previously.
I think it was a great addition. What do you think?

More "Flurries"

Heres another blue toned card with my "Flurry of Wishes" set & I added some of the "Reason for the Season" set too.
I used the 2 1/2" circle punch for the window, with the 2 3/8" scallop circle inside. Fun sets!!

Flurry of Wishes

I love blues for Christmas! So here's one I made whilst playing with my new set "Flurry of Wishes".
I used Island Indigo & Soft Sky with Very Vanilla.
I really like these colors & the set as well!!

Dump in 1 (12oz) bottle chili sauce
(found on the ketchup isle)
And 1 (12 oz) jar of grape jelly
It won't mix well until it gets warm
Cook til bubbly! That's it!!

Shadowy Trees

Here's a beeeeeeautiful peaceful Christmas card.
As you can see in the close up below the piece of torn white CS is edged with glitter glue. Then add "snow" with the chalk marker. So pretty!
And the delightful thing is that it's super simple!! Happy stamping!!

Fall Butterflies

Lovely fall butterflies!  You could use any DSP combo. It doesn't have to even be Fall!! Spring, summer plaid, patriotic.... The sky's the limit!
I used the DSP Sweater Weather.
Love this paper!! Add rhinestones for a little sparkle, ribbon... Then add your greeting and use Large oval punch & Scallop Oval punch to punch with.
Simple but sweet!

M-i-c-k-e-y M-o-u-s-e

Just a little change of pace from Christmas & Fall cards. And it's a great kids punch art card!
Just use the 1 3/8" & 2 1/2" circle punches. Then two hearts with 1/2" circle in the center makes his bow tie. Cute cute!!

Give Thanks Pillow Box

Finally a die for a pillow box!! Isn't it cute?
And here's the accessory dies that go with it.
I used the Autumn Leaves Bigz die for the leaf, the Acorn Builder punch, Little Leaves Sizzlet & Script Embossing folder. I took the wide burlap ribbon & cut it in 1/2 then frayed it. Make sure & save the pulled out strings to make the little loops that peek out from behind the leaf. I separated the bakers twine so its it as thick to put on top of the burlap.

Batty about Halloween

Using the 2 1/2" circle punch I made a "moon illusion", shading the inside card stock with Pumpkin Pie & Crush Curry ink.
You can create awesome bats by using a butterfly punch then using a circle punch to snip off the bottom wings .

Then I used the Modern Label punch to create the window for the greeting.
In spite of my dislike for Halloween I will say this card is pretty cool. It could certainly be used for a really awesome Fall card.

Joyful Christmas Wishes

This card features the Festive Flower Builder Punch. Such a cool
Punch!!
The Season of Cheer DSP is really cool too!! Here's one side of them all....
And the other side of the sheets.....
And the the sheet I used....
Beautiful!!
Ohhhhh my!! Soooo much potential here!!

Gold Dusted Christmas Greeting

Beautiful way to send a Christmas greeting! Embossed with Boughs & Berries embossing folder then sponged with metallic gold ink.
I used the Oval Framelits for the main attraction.
I used the "Reason for the Season" stamp set, then cut out the  poinsettia &  mounted it with dimensionals. Love the Cherry Cobbler & Always Artichoke combination!!

Joy to the World

Beautiful silhouette design!!
Night of Navy card base with WhisperWhite embossed face.
I used Stazon black ink for the silhouette of the shepherds from the "Every Blessing" set. Then after cleaning the stamp I used Daffodil Delight to stamp the star. Then shaded edges with Night of Navy & a sponge. You want to sponge over the silhouette so that it looks like the shepherds are in the dark night & that the star is shining bright in the night sky.

Merry Christmas Tree Die

The "Purple Lady" at class will LOVE this!! I got this die AND the paper at a yard sale so I needed to use it at class, right? Anyway I thot a belly band card would be in order.
Love the stitching on the tree!
Finished product! Beautiful!!

Last one...

Sending these beauties off today.
Can't wait for her to get them!!
Notice the little squiggly/dot border along
the edge of the creme piece. That is a fun way to dress up the edges if you're feeling like they are a little plain.
Ok... I promise.... On to another set!!

More again.....

Just another card made with same stamps....same colors....same beauty!!

You GOTTA get this set!!
More coming....just one more...

More....more....

Love the strips of Cherry Cobbler CS on this one. This DSP even tho it's not SU! matches Pool Party perfectly!
This poinsettia stamps really well and is a super easy 2 step stamp to use. Sometimes 2 step stamps can be difficult  but this one is really easy!!

Sorry guys... It's just a blast!! I'm sorry to say that this DSP isn't Stampin Up! but it's really pretty & the best part is that I got it at a yard sale!! .10/sheet!!! Can't beat that!!

More "Jesus is the Reason"
