Triangle Fold Card

Such a fun card!! Card stock is12"x4". Score at 4" & 8". Then score the face of card & back flap of card from fold to corner THE SAME DIRECTION.  That's the trick. Then fold & embellish. Super simple it just has to be scored the same way both flaps. This is definitely a card class project next month, girls!!

A Skilled Sailor

I cannot tell you how I've been itchin to stamp with this AWESOME photopolymer set!! Here's my (non original) creation!
I love nautical creations anyway but this just really makes me happy. Some of this card IS original and some is "scrap lifted" from others. No matter it is still a really really cool card! Just use your favorite DSP to make the background & stripe. Even if you don't have the nautical paper you can use the backgrounds Designer Series Paper Stacks on pg 185 of the catalog. They can tend to be nautical in the right colors!! Happy stamping!!

Puppy Love

This card is much more than puppy love... It's TRUE love!! Wouldn't you love to send this to one of your canine loving friends! How 'bout your vet? Or that friend that just lost their furry friend? Here's the card for you! And it's all hearts except for the eyes!!  I used the 2nd largest heart framelit for the base. The next smallest cut in 1/2 for the ears. Heart Punch for his nose, smallest heart framelit for the eye spot & tongue, the owl punch for the eyes with a standard hole punch on top. Now that's simple and adorable at the same time!!

Rich Razzelberry Birthday

Here's a fun way to use your DSP scraps!
This card is prettying self explanatory. I cut my DSP panels 1" wide but you could cut them smaller if you wanted to put 4 panels across. Have I said how much I LOVE Stampin Ups DSP?

More Nautical...

Ok I know that Pacific Point & Pistachio Pudding aren't real likely colors to put together but.... Check this out!! I think this card is just as handsome as can be!!
I used By The Tide stamp set and accented with Soft Suede. The little "emblem" on the front is made using the 1" Circle punch & the 1 1/4" Scallop.

It's a pull out card which is a great variation to the traditional open card.
Here's what the inside pull out looks like.
Isn't it cute?

Sweet One

Everyone knows SOMEONE who is either about to have a baby or has just had one so here's a SUPER simple monochromatic card for just that occasion!
Daffodil Delight can bravely stand on its own here and present a darling card!
2 3/8" Scallop Punch paired with the 1 3/4" Scallop Punch really set off the cute greeting. And don't you love those big polka dots?!?  I thot the tiny stars accentuated the stars around the greeting. So simple but stinkin cute!!

Balloons Happy Birthday

Now THIS is a fun set!! The stamp set is "Celebrate Today" used with the Balloon Framelits. I really love DSP backgrounds... Can you tell? :)

A little closeup for the paper piercing detail I added. Just freehand a kind of "butterfly trail" or you could also go around the edges... Straight down the center... Whatever.

Have a lovely day!!

Bunnys aren't just for Easter!!

Nothing says SPRING like a bunny!!! I happen to have a lady that comes to class who ADORES bunnies so we do bunnies occasionally that have nothing to do with Easter! This is one of those occassions....
Any great friend would love to get this cheery little guy in their mailbox, especially carrying all those lovely spring tulips!! Happy Spring... Wherever you may be!

Candy Cup Hat

Spring...Easter.....Mothers Day.... All call for beautiful hats!! Here's one you can give to someone special.
Punches:
2 3/8" Scallop Circle
1 3/4" Circle
2 1/2" Circle
Bird Builder
Boho Flower
Word Window
Scallop Edge
I used party mints inside the candy cups but you can choose a pretty candy that coordinates with your card colors.
This was a really fun card to design & easy to make!
Have fun!

Owl-ish Congrats!!

If you have a graduate this year, here is a great way to wish them well!!
Use your owl punch to punch the body then punch one scallop circle with the 1 1/4" punch. You are gonna cut the scallop in 1/2 then use 1/2 of the half for each wing. I punched a 3/4" square of black then trimmed the top for his hat. Cut a snip of yellow for his beak, add wiggle eyes & a "diploma" of rolled up computer paper. Is he adorable? So say congrats in style this spring!! Have fun!

Spring Tulip

No better way to say "thank you" than with flowers!!  This sweet tulip is made using the Large Oval Punch & the Blossom Builder Punch. I used the "Thanks" from the Hello You Framelits set. Looks so bright & Springy with Melon Mambo as the main colors!!

Happy EasterTulips

Here's the card I sent to our parents for Easter. I was in the mood for something super Springy and saw this 3-D card & just had to make it! Pretty self explanatory but remember after you score the front, BEFORE you fold, use the 2 1/2" circle punch to punch the window cut out making sure to get it centered because when you fold it you want it to be exact. Stamp some flowers on the inside of the card peeking out into the window (use Momento ink or emboss so you can color them in). Then on separate piece of CS stamp another set to be colored then cut out. This is what gives you a fuller "bouquet"!

Wouldn't this be cute with balloons? Have a lovely day... All day long!!

Bunny "Bums"

I put together two ideas to come up with this card. Love the little bunny bum & his cotton tail!!
Here's the punches I used: large oval (ears), small oval (feet), 2 1/2" circle for bum with 1 3/8 circle for candy cup to go in & save your 1 3/8" punch out for his head. I used Decorative Label for the side greeting.
