You're Berry Sweet

I have always loved strawberries!!! My kitchen used to be decorated in strawberries. Strawberries are fun (& so simple) to make with a heart punch. Add a 1/2 of a flower punch & a few leaves & you have some sweet strawberries!!
I also added some tiny flowers to act as blossoms. Fun, summery & simple! What more could you ask for!!

A Card For Everybunny!!

A sweet summer bunny card!
Sorry none of these stamps are Stampin Up! I borrowed them from a friend because I had a request for bunny cards!
But it was a fun card to do. You can take any stamp ,tho, and create this card on your own. I used the Clear Circle Die for the circle cut out. I love the sweet face on this bunny!
Happy Thursday!

Masking Technique

Here's a great fun technique to use with any set! But now it's so much easier with framelits!! Just cut out any shape out of a sticky note with a  framelit.  Then after stamping that image onto your piece of cardstock, place the sticky note exactly over the stamped image & continue stamping other complimentary stamps around & overlapping sticky note. When you're finished, pull off the sticky note! Fabulous!! If you want an image that diesnt have a framelit then you can do the same thing just by stamping the image on a sticky note then cutting it out by hand then masking. Have fun!!

Lets Be Brief!

For the business man in your life...or the person who just started anew career...or the new college student...
Here's the perfect card! Using the Tag Topper punch I created the briefcase & added a brad for a"snap".
1" circle punch for handle, mount on card stock then use complimenting DSP. Love it!! I added 3 brads for a little extra embellishment.

Salmon Finger Sandwiches/Dip

Since my guys catch ALOT of salmon we don't do tuna fish. So when we make "tuna" sandwiches .... Yah... they're salmon!
I just drain a pint jar of salmon, add two (or more) diced boiled eggs. Then I dice up sweet pickles and add mayonnaise til it's the consistency I want. Then you can make into finger sandwiches, scoop with chips or veggies! ENJOY!!!

Pumpkin Pie Cupcakes

Just had to share this with you on this rainy Central Oregon day!!

pumpkin pie cupcakes

1 15 oz can pumpkin puree
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3/4 cup evaporated milk
2/3 cup all purpose flour
2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon baking soda

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line 12 cup muffin tin with silicone liners, foil liners sprayed with cooking spray or just spray the cups with cooking spray. Either of these three methods will make it easy to take the cupcake out after it’s cooked. Paper liners make it difficult to remove the cupcakes.

Mix the pumpkin, sugar, brown sugar, eggs, vanilla extract and milk. Add the flour, pumpkin spice, salt, baking powder and baking soda to the mixture. Fill each muffin cup with 1/3 cup of the mixture. Bake for twenty minutes and let cool for twenty minutes. Remove cupcakes from pan and chill in the fridge for 30 minutes. Top with whipped cream and sprinkle more pumpkin pie spice on top and serve. Makes 12 cupcakes

To You From Me

Awwww isn't he cute? Again ...a lot of punching but well worth it!
The horn bases & his neck are just strips cut with your paper cutter.
And...(hee hee) do you spot the Owl Builder punch??:)

Blooming Birthday

Polka Dots & Flowers!! How fun!!!
Love the colors on this card too.
Simple yet beautiful!

And speaking of BBQ time....

Our family really enjoys Dutch oven cooking!  Not only the cooking but the fellowship that goes along with it.
Our neighbors were our last victims....er...uh..guests & we had a great time!
Of course there was lots of story telling too!
Our cousins,Dick & Sue Dodson are our partners in crime & we have had great fun coming up with recipes, new methods, new cookbooks, equipment etc...
The newest way to do potatoes...
Dicks rolls.... AWESOME!!
Tri Tip...
The littlest "guest"... Actually he had to go back to the kennel before the food was done for obvious reasons!!
Waiting.....
The main cooks!

It's BBQ time!!!

Oh what fun we had with this card!!! It's a lot of punching but the end result is worth it!! Any SU! Alphabet will do for the letters OR you can certainly skip the letters entirely & add a "Happy Birthday" greeting! Also note that the "paper plate" and "fries" are corrugated. Most things are also sponged with Crumb Cake ink. After corrugating the plate you'll need to stretch it slightly to get it round again. Have fun!!
