Sturgeon like never before!!!

What absolutely wonderful day!!
We went on a guided sturgeon fishing trip with Steves Guided Adventures!!
Our family and a couple of the boys friends went up to Portland to fish the Willamette River. We caught 36 sturgeon!!
They are a very interesting fish!
Are these not just cool pictures?!?
Heading out early I caught a lovely sunrise picture on the water.

Party Pants

This set is so cute!!
A greeting for every occasion!! Plus the makin's for a cute balloon.
I used the 2 3/8" circle punch & 2" circle for the greeting. Then I used the Blossom   Builder Punch for the flame on the candles. So so cute!!

Stars & Stripes

Here's a fun card. I just know that the ladies in card class will love it!
Island Indigo & Cherry Cobbler DSP pair up to make a card that could be used for any occasion...in this case "Congrats"!!
It's not only simple but showy with such stark colors. You could easily make it decidedly feminine with just switching up the colors! Instead of stars you could scatter punched flowers....oooooh great idea! That would be soooo cool!!

Thinking Of You Fresh Colors

Here's a different color combo!
Don't you love it? Just a few flags & stars makes this card super crisp looking.
Layers is where it's at, guys! So cool! Great masculine card!

Lighthouse Birthday

Here's a lovely & classy masculine card.
Black & Cherry Cobbler go very well together I think! A little stamping, a little twine, a couple buttons & a sentiment in a circle completes this card!
I did do some "direct to paper" inking around the picture to give it an aged look.

Party Pack Punch

These are such cute little punches!
You can replace any "i " in birthday with this little candle. Cute, huh?
Stripes & polka dots are so cute together too. Love the bright  colors on this simple card!

Sweet as Honey

The DSP packet called "English Garden" has a couple sheets with these adorable little bees on them!! I knew I HAD to use them!!
I coupled the Honeycomb embossing folder with the 1/2" punched out bees circles. Then took the Scallop Punch & only punched a little more than 1/2 out to make the bee hive. Draw lines on the "hive". Use a standard punch & black CS for the hole into the hive. Add ribbon & a tag with your sentiment.
