BRAVO!!

Since next month will be Independence Day month we did a patriotic card in class.  

Here's a fun original design that uses whatever you have along the line of star punches (or framelits for that matter.) 

I used the Confetti Stars Border punch & the discontinued Star punch. The Confetti Stars Border is in the new catalog but the other two star punches are not.  BUT the new catalog has the Medium Star Punch which would work just fine!! Also the Stars Framelits. 

Using the Real Red & Night of Navy markers I made "star trails" on the Whisper White CS. Also I used the Dazzling Diamonds liquid sparkly glue on some of the stars. Sadly that isn't available anymore but here are several options: SEQUINS!! Or....

Here's a multi purpose glue that dries clear. Top it off with....

Stampin Glitter in Dazzling Diamonds!!

Lastly you could do Gold or Silver in the Dazzling Details glue. I just liked the clear iridescent-ness (is that a word?!?) of the kind I used. Anyway...

I used a 2" circle punch for Stamping the strawberry on. So pretty!!

Sending Candle Wishes

You can't have too many birthday cards on hand.  And here's another one to add to your collection!

Random sized candles from "Its My Party"  DSP are just so fitting. The background confetti paper is from the same DSP pack. I used Mint Macaroon for the card base. A 2 1/2" Circle Punch is kinda the base for the candles.  The flames are the wing from the Bird Builder punch. That really cool greeting? Cool font huh? It's from the set Party With Cake. Remember use whatever patterned paper you have on hand, switch up the colors & make it your own!!

If you have various circle punches then you can make this card in a snap!!

Just get your scraps of DSP & start punching!! I used these sizes:

3/4", 1", 1 1/4", 1 3/8" & 1 3/4"

So so simple! This one is this months "5 Second card"!!
