Horrible....

I did a horrible thing to day & totally forgot to take pictures of the two snacks at card class!!! So sorry but here they are anyway:

Lemon Berry Parfaits

1) Whip 1 pint of whipping cream & sweeten slightly. Mix with 1 c lemon curd. 

2) Crumble 3/4 pkg of lemon cookies

3) Clean & chunk fresh strawberries 

4) Layer all of the above starting with cookies & ending with strawberries. I  did these in clear plastic cups & add a whole cookie to the top of each one. 

Bacony Avocado Dip

Fry 4-5 pieces of bacon with Red onion, cool & crumble

Smash 4-5 ripe avocados.

Grate  1 1/2 C sharp cheddar cheese

Mix all together & salt to taste. 

Serve with tortilla chips.

You know how I love to use punches in a different way than they were intended.... Well here's a card I found online that I just HAD to put into my class!!! It the tag punch...upside down!! Then the saucer or mug base is the large oval. The mug handle is the1" circle punch. So simple!!

Honeycomb Birthday Wishes

Lovely color combo, don't you think? When I saw this online I knew it was a great way to use this DSP!! The Large Oval & Scallop Oval really sets off the greeting. The bookmark uses the Two Tags Die, to which I added the 11/4" Scallop Circle punch then layered two butterflies.....& the Honeycomb Embossing folder makes a great backdrop for it all!  Happy Monday!!!
