Hmmmm... Interesting!

Interesting stamp set....interesting colors..... interesting framelits.....

Not sure I made the right descision about this card. The card was great but the "clasp" to hold it together isn't exactly what I was hoping for. I think a belly band would have been better...
So you cut the Crushed Curry CS 4 1/4" square. Then take your Whisper White 4 x 5 1/2" & stamp images...then score at 4" from one end. From that same end, score at 5 1/2". Flip paper & score 4" from other end. Mount on the Crushed Curry with a 1/4" margin. Add embellishments. Happy Stampin!!

So Kind...

I love polka dots!! Stripes are another of my favorites too, but I really love polka dots. Here's a card that's just packed with polka dots!!
It's amazing what you can do with ribbon, ink & card stock when you have AWESOME DSP like this!!  Simple but so eye catching. Have fun switching this one up!!

Little Pickup

Here's a cute card for that special man who "needs a little pickup". Whether sick or just discouraged, who wouldn't love this encouraging word!!
I used the Boho Chic embossing folder for the background on the silver CS. I thot that Island Indigo was a great color to go with silver. Simple but classy!!

St.Patty Strikes Again!!!

It'll be here before you know it & you certainly need a sweet card to send to your favorite leprechaun!
I just love the DSP in the different SU! families of color. I used the Wild Wasabi here. So cute! The new patterns are cool too. They change every year & I think these are the best so far!
So punch a few hearts to make your clover (smaller hearts would be cool too) & free hand a stem. So fun & QUICK!!

Balloon Birthday

Balloons are so cheery! So what better way to celebrate than balloons!  The new SU! balloon punch is so fun....you can use any DSP you want & make an awesome bouquet of balloons.

Here is a great card with some darling balloons to brighten any day. Add some twine, & a snappy little button & you've got a card that's sure to please.

Time For Tea....and You

Wisteria Wonder is a lovely color. Couple it with "A Nice Cuppa" set and you've got the makings for a beautiful card.
Make this card for your favorite tea drinking buddy....it's sure to be a hit!

Tea-Rific!

What an adorable card!!
Melon Mambo, Bermuda Bay & Basic Grey are just a great combo!
This stamp set & framelits come in a bundle so it's a great value as well.
Definitely one you'll use again & again!

Scrappy Masculine Card

Here's a great way to use up scraps. Plus it's a great masculine card!!
So get out your DSP packs & here's the measurements:
All pieces are 2" wide
Lengths are 1 1/4", 2 1/4", 1 5/8", 3 1/8", 2 1/4".
Fit them together & add your embellishments.
Switch up the DSP and imagine it as a girls birthday....or baby...or a flowery feminine card... So many possibilities!!
Have fun!!

The Sky's the Limit

Simple but a great masculine card. I used the World Traveler embossing folder for the background then sponged a little Pool Party ink in strategic places.
It doesn't take much....just to add the feel of clouds. Stamp the greeting & on a seperate piece of card stock, stamp the airplane (from Sky is the Limit stamp set) & flag the end. Great card for your favorite pilot!

Eeeeeek!! Scary Monster!!

Well....he's not so scary actually!! Just cute, green & teethy!!
It takes so little to make this cute little "terrifying" monster.
Here's what punches I used:
3/4" circle
Bird Builder
1 1/4" circle
1 3/8" circle
1/2" circle
Standard hole punch
1 3/4" Scallop circle (inside for "bite")
Very fun card to make & what kid wouldn't love it?!?

Sunshine & Smiles

I think this is this months "5 Second" card!!
21/2" circle punch coupled with the mini flag punch & BAM! you have a super cute card! Add your greeting & you're done!! With a card this simple, cut out a whole bunch & do them assembly line style! Then your card box will be full when you need to grab a quick greeting or put several cards together for a great gift!

Crooked Squares

We have done this one before for class. But this just shows how different a card can be when you switch up the colors or in this case make it monochromatic.
We love simple & cute here!!

DSP again?!?

Yes.... Again!!
Talk about simple!! Two 2 1/8" x 5 1/4" pieces of DSP on a card base, a strip of ribbon & a greeting (in the extra large oval) attached with a safety pin is all you need for this sweet wish!! B A S I C!!!! Really!! You can do this! The only stamp is the greeting which, by the way, can be printed on your computer! Mine is stamped but if you don't have greeting stamps, don't let that stop ya!!!  Just fire up that PC & print off a bunch, punch& attach with a safety pin! So simple...so cute!!

Oval with Embossed Flowers

The embossing folders are just so fun! I have....let's say...a few of them!! That's not really a lie...ok I have lots of "a few" of them!!  But I really love the way they look as a back ground or (in this case) as a main focal point!  With any embossing folder image, just sponge over the image with a coordinating color and watch the image POP to life!!
Have fun & put those "few" embossing folders to use...

Do you see a pattern here?

Have I told you I LOVE DSP?!? Well if you'll notice the last few days have been DSP, DSP, DSP!!! Sorry... But it's just so fun & simple yet makes the card so awesome!
How simple is this one?!? Strips of DSP 3/4 the way up the card, a ribbon, a knot, a border, a punch & a greeting!
Get stamping, ladies!!

DSP Corner Fold Down

Sometimes you just need a non traditional card that doesn't just open on one side!!
Here's the card for you!! Again, SU!s DSP is the answer for you!! The 2 sided coordination is so fun.  Just fold one corner down to expose the other fun side to create a pocket for your greeting to go in! So cool!!
Here's the insert. Leaves you LOTS of room for all those flowery words!

Fold over Happy Birthday

When you have coordinating DSP you have a treasure!! Love my SU! packages of DSP!
Pull out a package of DSP & you're sure to get your creative juices going!! That's what happened here. The colors are already decided for you so you just get them out & let the creativity begin!! Whether simple (like this one) or a little more complicated, you're sure to come out with an awesome card when you start with DSP!!

Shifted Squares Birthday Wishes

The black on this card really is what sets off the bright DSP squares. Such a simple card but eye catching as well!
The fun thing about this card is the pearls. Just plain white pearls colored with...what else .. A Sharpie!!
The polka dot background gives the whole card a perky feel.

Super easy to make assembly line style & get your card supply back up!

Layered Flower Birthday

A little embossing....
A little DSP....
A little punching....
A few old flower punch outs that needed used...
A cute "dog tag" tag....
A button....
A knot of ribbon....
What else?!? That's all you needful this cool gate fold card (flaps over lap)
Remember these die cut flowers? I had some leftovers & they were just the perfect colors to layer on here.
Have an awesome day!!

Friendship Rose

Love the Rose Wonder Bundle!!
My sweet friend has a birthday this Friday so I made this card for her. I think she'll like it, huh?
I used Calypso Coral ink & CS. I printed the sentiment on the computer. I have some REALLY old sentiment books from my Auntie who passed away last Fall. They are just a wealth of cool sayings. And isn't that always the dilemma...the sentiment?  I think of her everytime I use these thick old tattered books!
Happy Stamping!!
