Hey Daisy!!

What a fun cheery card to make on this laaaazy snow encrusted FREEZING day!! The bright colors & happy flowers made it seem like spring in my heart! I think this is a great card for a young girls birthday, don't you?

Happy Birthday, Cowboy!

I used up some old DSP today on this cowboy card for a friends grandson. Love the colors even if they are discontinued! This card was fun to make.

Just live a little better....

Here's a masculine card with some fishing embellishments. Great way to use your scraps! By request I printed the saying on my computer. I really love this saying... It's so perfect for someone dear.

Beautiful Wings

Playing in my Stampin room today. Actually I had a couple orders I had to fill so technically I was working. Here's a birthday card I came up with.... partly my design & partly someone else's.
Here's the inside. It's always fun to tie it all together inside the card.

DONE!!

Aren't they pretty? Going in the mail today as soon as the sparkles dry!

One of my Favorites!

This card really shows how placement & layering make the design! There is a total of 4 layers here. Card base, DSP, background, then your main focal point. The DSP has a subtle design that doesn't take away from the main focal point but gives a reinforcement of the main card base color. The background white with the splatter stamp reinforces the Crumb Cake color in a more bold way which leads to TA-DA!!! the main focal point!!! Cajun Craze really pops out in the embossed leaf & the greeting. Offsetting the background & main focal point gives a little pull to the eye but is evened out by placing the three gold brads in the upper right corner area. Adding the raffia bow adds an earthy texture that this card needs to give it that Autumn flair. Switch it all up to make it your own but remember be subtle & build til you POP! your main focal point!! Have a great day!!

It is so easy that you could put it together in about 5 seconds! 1/2" circle punch for buttons, 1 1/4" square punch & 1" square punch for buckle. So simple! This is a great card to start on for maybe a kids project or the 1st time to make your own Christmas cards!
