Punchy Snowman

Well winters acoming so pull out the snowmen!! Here's a fun one to do with punches. His body is made with 2 3/8" & 1 3/4" scallop circle punches & his head is 1 1/4" circle punch. His hat is the Ticket Duo Builder punch, heart buttons are from Owl Builder punch, eyes are standard hole punch, arms are from the discontinued Snowflake punch & his nose is just free hand snipped from Pumpkin Pie CS. I also used the DSP All is Calm for the background. Have fun making this smiling little friend!

Scrappy Scarecrow

Only 7 more days til Halloween. So here's a card that will melt someones heart!! I'm always looking for different ways to use punches so I was pleased to see the Tag punch used for his "dashboard" Levi's!! The straps are the Slot punch, arms are Word Window punch, 3/4" Square is his pocket, Boho Flower punch for... Uh... Flower:)
1 1/4" Circle punch for his face, Square Scallop for hat, just a strip for brim & free hand his nose. Great way to use your smaller pieces of DSP also!! On this little guy I used twine for hair & ends of sleeves instead of raffia. It was WAY simpler!! I cut about a 1/2" long piece then unraveled it....attached it with a glue dot.... Simple!!

Twin Acorns

A perfect way to be thankful! These sweet little faces are sure to charm anyone!! I used the Ornament Punch for the faces, Large Oval punch for tops & smiles & standard hole punch for noses.
The stems are just cut freehand. Simple card but oh so cute!!

Ho Ho Ho

Hers another great card that uses scraps!! Whatever Alphabet Dies you have will work. I used discontinued ones but no matter, the current ones will work great!! Also the snowflakes are discontinued. Here's a suggestion on the O's: if you do not have a snowflake punch or die then there IS a Framelit in the Holiday Mini catalog (good til Jan 5)
It's part of the Snowfkake card framelit set. I would use the littlest one. Also another option would be to stamp a small snowflake & punch with a circle punch (approx 1 1/4")
I used the Curly Label punch & the 1/2" circle punch too.
Have fun with this one!!

Carmel Apple Dip

Here's a cozy warm dip for you to try with your favorite apples:
16 individually wrapped carmels
1/4 c water
Stir & melt over low heat.
When melted add:
1t vanilla
8 oz softened cream cheese
1/2 c brown sugar
Serve either warm or room temperature.

The DSP is fun too. Switch it up & make it look completely different.

Ornament Punch for Lights Card

So simple but so cute!!
Choose your colors, punch, add wire or string, add greeting & there's your card!!
I did use the snowflake embossing folder for texture but you wouldn't have to.
Color the tops of the ornament punch with a gold sharpie also. Love the simplicity of this card!
