Another great way to use Stampin Ups framelits!! Cut out any design & use the negative part as a mask to sponge a shape onto your card stock! Stamp in grey or black to create a silhouette effect.

So so simple yet it was a favorite of many at card class! DSP with a butterfly punched then moved  down a bit & adhered! Add brads & a greeting & you have it!!!

Fishy Birthday

Perfect card for a little fisherman in your life!!  Even tho the Paper Piecing punch that I used here is no longer available you can still just cut random pieces yourself to get the same look.   

26 years!!!

Yep 26 years ago today began my life as Mrs. Steve Brewer!!! A lot of water has gone under the bridge & I am so thankful God gave us to each other!!! Happy anniversary to my awesome husband!!!

Ahhhh masculine cards....sometimes they can be so difficult to create. But give me a western stamp & usually I can come up with something!!! Ha ha!

Here's a little boy birthday card for ya!!!

This uses the new photopolymer CLEAR set from Stampin Up. I am soooo excited about the new CLEAR CLEAR sets coming out!!! So easy to match up if you make a mistake. Also this card uses the new hexagon punch which I LOVE!!! Sure beats cutting them out!! The colors on this card are Island Indigio & Pool Party. Really like this combo!

August Class

Don't forget that the August Card Class is August 10.... One week earlier this month too. Sooooo that means that the deadline for signing up is August 3rd!

Pansy Punch Thank You

Who doesn't love panseys? I LOVE the new pansey punch!!! These were punched then run thro the BigShot with the Square Lattice embossing folder.  I added pearl to the centers of the panseys & the beautiful purple ribbon. The leaves for the flowers are just the Modern Label punch cut in half.

Here's a beautiful butterfly card that is super simple!!! I used the 1 1/2" scallop circle, 11/4" circle, & 1" circle punches. The butterflies are both the big & petite ones layered. Use the DSP of your choice & you have a simply gorgeous card!!

A little late....

Here's a card my husband  rec'd yesterday in the mail. His birthday was July 5th. I really liked the colors my friend combined in this one. Burgundy & Kraft.

And if course I loved the stamp of the cowboy!  This is a great one to use as a template for MANY cards!!

Horrible....

I did a horrible thing to day & totally forgot to take pictures of the two snacks at card class!!! So sorry but here they are anyway:

Lemon Berry Parfaits

1) Whip 1 pint of whipping cream & sweeten slightly. Mix with 1 c lemon curd. 

2) Crumble 3/4 pkg of lemon cookies

3) Clean & chunk fresh strawberries 

4) Layer all of the above starting with cookies & ending with strawberries. I  did these in clear plastic cups & add a whole cookie to the top of each one. 

Bacony Avocado Dip

Fry 4-5 pieces of bacon with Red onion, cool & crumble

Smash 4-5 ripe avocados.

Grate  1 1/2 C sharp cheddar cheese

Mix all together & salt to taste. 

Serve with tortilla chips.

You know how I love to use punches in a different way than they were intended.... Well here's a card I found online that I just HAD to put into my class!!! It the tag punch...upside down!! Then the saucer or mug base is the large oval. The mug handle is the1" circle punch. So simple!!

Honeycomb Birthday Wishes

Lovely color combo, don't you think? When I saw this online I knew it was a great way to use this DSP!! The Large Oval & Scallop Oval really sets off the greeting. The bookmark uses the Two Tags Die, to which I added the 11/4" Scallop Circle punch then layered two butterflies.....& the Honeycomb Embossing folder makes a great backdrop for it all!  Happy Monday!!!
